Cinnamon Island
Isla Canela is a Spanish island located in the municipality of Ayamonte, (Huelva). Currently, in addition to the two population centers, the Barriada de Canela and Punta del Moral, 1 we find a great infrastructure for sun and beach tourism distributed along the seven kilometers of beach that the island has. In the non-coastal areas of the island we find various urbanizations, a golf course and a multitude of farms where the small-scale agricultural environment predominates. Like the rest of the area, the island is made up mostly of marshes, due to the sedimentation that occurs at the nearby mouth of the Guadiana, which marks the border with Portugal.
